Incredible

Time flies by so quickly, and so much can happen in such a small amount of time. Incredible. So so people known to be dead sigh. Earlier tonight i watched an episode of this HK series, which talked about how a young pilot (second Chinese captain in history) lost his life saving a young girl from getting run over by a bus. How many many more tragic stories must the victims of the dreadful earthquake have created??? Sometimes life seems so unfair hey.

And how very unfair Jesus' death for us seems to be! He was born to die. I was challenged by Boxing Day's sermon to look beyond the baby in the manger to the Lord, King, Saviour, Redeemer, Brother, Friend that the baby grew up to be!! Jesus lived a sinless life, yet gave up His life, died on the cross, suffered ridicule and slander, for sinners like you and me. Pretty overwhelming.

Hope u're all having a great day, remembering the true meaning of Christmas! Hehe this morning i got a call from a lady called Janette...went like this after my dad handed me the phone!

Me: Hello?
Her: Hello! Merry Christmas!! Did I ever tell u that we haven't moved yet??
Me: Err....
Her: Is this vincy i'm speaking to??
Me: Yeh it is...sorry who is this?
Her: Oh did i just wake u up? Sorry about that. This is Janette!
Me: No no, u didnt wake me up! Sorry im still lost as to who u are...
Her: This IS vincy i'm talking to, right? If not, could i please speak to vincy?
Me: Yup yup this is vincy u're talking to! But i really don't know who this is >.<
Her: It's me, UR MUM!! Janette!!
Me: What?
Her: Sorry, is there someone called Louise around?
Me: No, there isn't
Her: Oh sorry about that, wrong number then. Merry Christmas!
Me: Bye. Merry Christmas to u too!

Hehe such a nice lady! wonder if there was some kinda mix-up at the hospital at the time of my birth...my brother suggested that maybe Janette is my real mum or something! Maybe that's where i got my naturally brown hair from =P
