Lost !

One thing i've noticed. If i'm going to meet up with some people, say bowling at Top Ryde, and i'm running unexpectedly late, and and i suddenly call someone who's there at the meeting place already, the phone conversation will go like this:

Friend: Hey vincy
me: Hallo! How's it going?
Friend: Good!
me: Hey, are you at (meeting place) yet?
Friend: Yep. Where are you?
me: I'm lost :( *boo hoo*
Friend: Cool...where are you now?
me: Don't really know. *tries to describe location*
Friend: *gives directions*
etc.

This is usually followed by a second call pretty much along the same lines ... or if the Friend is lucky, i'll show up a little later. I guess im not known as Dory for nothing after all !!

So, being quite lost as i usually am, what Jesus said to His disciples at the Passover Feast is especially comforting.

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." (John 14:1-4)

We can become quite lost living in this world, andnot just cause it's round and therefore we can go round and round and round and round without really knowing it. We may feel stuck in a certain situation or issue or in a certain state of mind or certain state of heart. But we don't have to be troubled when we trust in God. Jesus is the way. We have been invited to know the way, and we don't have to be lost. Yippee :)
